Farmersville Elementary School, under the direction of the PTA, held its annual Tiger Trek Fundraiser Sept. 30 in the fields next to the school, as 550 students participated from kindergarten to fifth grade. Students collected donations from sponsors in support of their achievement. The event no only raised money for the school, but it also encouraged physical activity as the students joined in the 30 minute walk to the sounds of Spinners Plus DJ Neil James. Lehigh University students from the COACH program and "Clutch," the Lehigh Mascot, joined the students as part of their community outreach mission. (Printed in THE PRESS)
